MUST HAVE PREVIOUS SUPERVISOR/MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE!
Must conduct a safety meeting at the begging of each shift.
Must wear safety glasses and earplugs.
Must ear high visibility vest.
Must have welding gloves to perform job duties.
Must ear blue jean pants.
Must have and understand lock out tag out to perform job duties.
Communicate with previous shift supervisor for problems, equipment status, quality, and pellet silo information.
Check paperwork to ensure the correct information has been reported.
Check extruders to ensure quality standards and daily production goals are being met and that the odor eliminator is being applied properly.
Delegate and follow up on work procedures.
Report broken and damaged equipment in a timely fashion.
Be proficient in extruder and equipment troubleshooting.
Utilize downtime to gain advantage during uptime.
Monitor and train employees to ensure safe and productive work habits are established.
Can effectively coordinate flake silo amounts and rates to keep from having excessive or no downtime all together.
Wash wash plant once a shift to ensure quality.
Communicates effectively with department manager.
Must check slurry level to ensure water is at proper level, also troubleshoot and repair pup problems.
Have general knowledge of heat profile and functions.
Must be able to inspect Laidig silo and troubleshoot, repair minor problems such as a sheared pin or relieve high pump pressures as needed.
Must be able to troubleshoot and replace burnt belts due to a choke up on wash plant.
Troubleshoot and repair minor screen changer malfunctions.
12-hour shift, four days on/four days off.May occasionally have to work overtime.
